Q. Our association recently replaced two hot water heaters that service the entire building. After the installation, an owner complained that they had no hot water to the shower in their unit.
This is the only unit experiencing a problem, so we are not sure it is related to the new hot water heaters. The installation was checked and everything was functioning from the point of the heaters. A plumber has suggested two possible solutions for the lack of hot water to the shower and the association is willing to fix the problem even though we believe it may be a unit owner issue. The question is, who is responsible for the cost of the repair?
