Q. We live in a 4 unit condo building. The 1st floor is commercial. The original builder rents it and it is now for sale.
Q. We are a medium sized condo building (12 over 2) in Chicago that is still under developer control.
Earlier this year, the developer filed an amendment to our declaration updating the plat of our garage. The updated plat extends the boundaries of one space in question (still owned by the developer at the time) to include the area that was previously part of the common element.
Q. We have a 3 unit condominium. The roof leaked last summer due to poor workmanship. The third floor was trying to sell their unit so they painted over the stain, but it eventually got worse and they told the board about the leak because it crumbled their walls.
